These are approaches that have been shown by scientific study to be effective for recovering from addiction and the treating the issues that often accompany addiction. These therapies can be practiced both in an individual setting or in a group:

  CBT: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,

  CRA: Community Reinforcement Approach,

►  Contingency Management,

  DBT: Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, 

►  Motivational Enhancement Therapy

►  The Sinclair Method, and

►  12-step facilitation
